Meet the Doctors

  • Dr.
    David Gordley
    D.D.S., F.A.G.D, F.I.C.O.I.

    Dr. Gordley is a member of the ADA, the CDS (Christian Dental Society), PADS (Pennsylvania Dental Society), the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Academy for Sports Dentistry, and is a Fellow of both The Academy of General Dentistry as well as the in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.  Internationally, he has served as a missionary dentist in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and the Honduras. As seen in Pittsburgh magazine, Dr. Gordley has been named by his peers as one of the region's top dentists ten times including in 2017. Additionally, he has been named one of America's Top Dentists six times by the Consumers Research Council of America including in 2017. David lectures on the topic of digital dentistry and serves as a key opinion leader in this field to his peers. When out of the office he enjoys hunting, fishing, biking, and skiing in his leisure time as well as spending time with his three daughters, Lauren, Aubrey, and Claire. David has continued in his service to the Slippery Rock community for over 10 years. He serves as SRU's team dentist and he founded the Slippery Rock youth wrestling program. Dr. Gordley is a guest lecturer at SRU on the topic of sports trauma. He also provides annual lectures at local elementary schools on the topic of tobacco awareness and oral health and volunteers as the school dentist for the Slippery Rock School district

  • Dr.
    Emily C. Halle
    Dr. Halle attended Washington and Jefferson College before receiving her doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Halle then enjoyed serving veterans during a residency at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System where she furthered her education in all aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Halle is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), PDA (Pennsylvania Dental Association) CMDA (Christian Medical and Dental Association), the AGD (Academy of General Dentistry) and the IAO (International Association of Orthodontics).

    Christina C. Cowley
    Dr. Cowley earned a bachelor of science at Wheeling Jesuit University and a doctorate at West Virginia University School of Dentistry. She also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she had the opportunity to expand her formal training and knowledge in the treatment of complex cases. In order to provide the best, most up-to-date treatment to her patients, Dr. Cowley is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She enjoys attending continuing education courses on local and national levels. t is also important to Dr. Cowley to be involved in community-based outreach. She has treated patients at the Mission of Mercy dental clinics in both Maryland and Virginia, has volunteered at the Special Olympics, completed an externship with the Indian Health Service in South Dakota, and went on a service trip to Guatemala to provide dentistry to those with no access. She looks forward to continuing her volunteer work in the future.
